The reason there are only 3 of us on the first show is because they will be showing what John & Ben did over in Vegas. Neither High Jinx or Graham were recorded the same night as me. We knew they would mix & match. What if everyone or nobody fooled them in one recording? Having seen the whole thing during my recording, it'll be interesting to see what it looks like on the show!

I really enjoyed this and Graham was a very worthy winner performance wise.

However, I really can't believe that Penn and Teller were fooled by Simon Aronson's 'Prior Commitment', straight out of 'Try the Impossible'?????

Very entertaining show all the same though.

Cheers,
John.

I thought Graham's performance was really entertaining but I was surprised that Penn and Teller were fooled by Simon Aronson's 'Prior Commitment', maybe they've never seen a copy of 'Try The Impossible' I thought that principle would be quite well known amongst magicians by now.

I might sound cynical but maybe they knew all the methods but they just needed a winner for the show.

Having been at the filming (thursday late) they seemed to be doing a "one guess or you fooled us" not a "it was either A B C or D and if it was one of those you fooled us"

Yeah, you aren't really fooled if you take several stabs at it.

It's kinda like folks claiming they guessed the ending to sixth sense, sure they may have theorised that ending as one possible one, but I am damn sure at no point did anyone eliminate any other possibility and state that it was for certain that outcome.
That's what Penn & Teller are trying to do here, only give what they believe to be the correct method, not several hit and hope theories.

Grahame performance was very good, real entertaining. After performing x-ray by Ben Harris for a few weeks I had a good idea how it was done. Does that mean I can say I fooled p&t? Lol

Yeah, I have been waiting so long to see the helium escape ever since Penn mentioned it in a penn-point as just an idea they were having. It looked even better than he was describing it, brilliant stuff.

I wonder why Steve Dela was selected to help with the last trick?

Three Answers to the Steve Dela question:

1) Just a lucky choice
2) They needed a young strong male in order to be able to stand and hold the bag and he made eye contact with Penn when he was choosing.
3) They know him and he was a stooge.
