Old DL methods that may be new to you.

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Old DL methods that may be new to you.

Both are from the More Card Manipulations Series by Hugard. Both rock. I didn't struggle with DLs all that much to begin with but these two methods are damn near fool proof. Technically one is an alternative to doing a DL but once you see it, you'll understand the potential.

From Series 3:
DL Substitute
Credited to Moore
Uses the Hindu Shuffle. Avoid Step 1 if you intend to use the Hindu Force anywhere else in your performance.

From Series 2:
The "Carlyle" Snap DL
Credited to Francis Carlyle
Uses a crimp that is cleverly put in as you are showing the spec their card. Very bold but they won't have a clue. No cover or complicated movements.

Both methods make it damn near impossible to not have the cards aligned properly. They really are idiot proof.
