Calling all Londoners

Postby greedoniz » Jan 11th, '11, 11:15

Did you know that on a monthly basis there is a TM London meet up to which all are invited be it novices to pro?

No?

Well for a few years now a few of the great and good on talkmagic have been doing just that and this coming Saturday is this months meet up.

The arrangements are usually made on the confusingly titled "Great big friendly TM get together" under the meetups heading but I am thinking that many might not attribute this title to a central London event.

Over the past few months the numbers have dwindled slightly so I am here to drum up business.

We are a friendly bunch and there is no pressure to perform or indeed talk about magic/mentalism if you dont wish.

This Saturday from 1pm at Walkers of Whitehall (just opposite trafalgar studios theatre on Whitehall)

Come on down. It's a new year and what have you got to lose?

I've put a leave pass request into the other half. Just need to see if it's been authorised.

All further updates to future London meets will be on the "Great big friendly TM get together" under the regional meetings section of Talk magic.

Just make sure not to read from page one as there are about 150 pages of rantings and organisations

Kobain and anyone else who has a can-do spirit:

We will be in the downstairs bar from 1pm and will be quite noticable with items of mystery on the table.

I've posted a link to Google Maps in the thread on the Regional Meetings board. If you look for an alley across the road from the Trafalgar Studios (currently showing End of the Rainbow) you should find it okay.

Keep an eye out on the "Great big friendly TM get together" under the regional meetings section of Talk magic for the next meet up date.

I should think the next one will be in Feb sometime

Here is a bit of talkmagic history the now very much gone bronz and I started them up, well we had an idea and it is still going take that all the people who said I would never amount to much.

I am master of misdirection, look over there.

We are not falling out young Welshy, we are debating, I think farlsy is an idiot he thinks I am one. We are just talking about who is the bigger idiot.
