ideas for a new trick

Postby twistedjester » Jan 16th, '11, 02:23

I've had an idea rolling around in my head for like 5 months for a new trick where you take a cig and push it thru ur hand and it turns into a cigar and you can even smoke the cigar and one got any ideas

If you mean do we have any idea how YOU do it then no, as we havent seen it :)
Do you have a method in mind, or are you looking for ideas ? I can think of a few ways this could be achieved but it depends on exactly what youre looking for.

I'd channel my thoughts in a different direction if I were you.

I have a sponge ball at home which when you put it into your hand in a certain way it turns into a square when you open your hand. Perhaps you could do this trick in a similar way?

Anyway I would suggest putting the cigar into your hands first as it is bigger and fatter than a cigarette, then show your hand empty when you reveal the cigarette, otherwise people might just think you hid the cigarette inside a hollow cigar.

One of the methods I thought of uses a fake cigar, the 2nd uses a gimmicked cigarette, and the 3rd uses a genuine cigar and cigarette and ends clean - sleeves can be rolled up.
On the page that Dale linked to there is a demonstration of the guys cigar holdout which looks quite effective aswell, and may spark a few ideas.

Wow. Smoking is dangerous. Well, you learn something new every day.

It's also on the way out, at least in Europe.
