Hi All
I'm Paul, from South Wales. I'm 38 and have recently got into magic more seriously after a little dabble some years back.
Looking forward to a productive and informative time on this forum as I have already spent a fair bit of £ on tricks without research etc.

Regards
Paul

    Hiya Paul,

    Welcome to TM :D

If you haven't looked at it yet, Mark Wilson's Complete Course is a great book to get going with, much better than spending a fortune on tricks.

Unfortunately I had the Wilson Book (as well as Tarbell) and sold them both on E-bay when I gave up magic the first time round.

I'm taking it more seriously this time (the internet helps as you can usually see demos of the trick, and reviews on forums like this) so I can make better informed decisions.

I'll probably pick those books up again if I see a good deal somewhere. I've recently bought Bobos coin magic and the royal road to card magic - so I've got plenty to work on :D

It's not really an optical illusion - it just looks like one!
