Do you mean 'How is it done?' or 'What does the effect look like?'

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

The effect is explained clearly. You don't get to know how it's done unless you buy it.

You wont get any method or instructions here. That's partly what you pay for when you buy effects.

Good advice.

Careers have been RUINED because someone saw a magician do a liquid production, knew what that prop was called, googled it, found this thread, signed up for the forum, read two magicians discussing if the workings of a prop were technically suitable for what he wanted to do, and then made a really trite twitter post about the mechanics of the thing. Ruining it for generations.

What baffles me if he is asking for exposure is that in his intro he claimed to have been lurking on this forum for a few years, he must understand the rules by now.

Invoke not reason. In the end it is too small a deity.

I really hate to de-rail this thread but I've got to address this issue. If a magicians career have been RUINED here because a method was exposed then I would have to say that magician never really had a career to begin with.

Magic careers are not ruined due to exposure. Magic careers are ruined for two reasons.

1- Total lack of business sense
2- Bad performances.

And I have to add that I have seen many successful magicians who were not great perfomers.

In 40 years in this business I have never seen or heard of a magician fail due to exposure. I have heard of magicians blaming exposure rather than admiting that they just didn't have what it takes to become a full time pro. But an excuse is all it is.

Please don't get me wrong. I don't like exposure. However I think blame needs to be placed in the correct place.

There really needs to be an ironic or sarcastic emoticon, because it can be hard to tell at times.

Can we not just invent one on here? Might save a few cross words.

Sorry, and yes we need a sarcastic thingy.

Especially since you will all be hard pressed to find a more sarcastic person then I. But it is hard to know in print sometimes.

But there are those that believe that they failed because of exposure.
