Jay Sankey's Twenty Years of Magic

Postby Jesse Davis » Feb 8th, '11, 00:01

Hey everyone,

two days ago, i bought Jay Sankey's Twenty Years of magic from the browsers den of magic for just $19.50. It is a 65pg coil bound book with 4 of Jay's lecture notes combined. I highly recomend this book. With just going over the first few effects I saw two selling on his website as DVDs. Both 'Wrap it Up' and 'Juicey Fruit'. The tricks in the book are called Sugarless Gum(Wrap it up) and Forbidden Fruit (Juicey Fruit). Both are great visual tricks. Also in the first few i found another great one. Here's a description.

The Spectator selects a card and then another. It is the 2 of clubs and the ace of clubs. The spectator signs the face of the ace, and the back of the two. The performer then hands the spectator the cards and the spectator soon finds it is only one. The THREE of clubs with their signature on the back and the face. Their two choses cars have FUSED together!!

I really liked this one. its quite visual, much like the other two. The book has over 30 routines and is worth far more than the $20. Highly recomended to any close-up worker. :D
