It isn't the Doctor's job to do it in the UK so neither answer is correct and your Poll is offensive as it appears to suggest one answer is the correct one, whereas infact neither answer is correct because there are already sturdy systems in place to deal with Notiiable Diseases in the UK.
Perhaps yourself or one of the Moderators could amend your Poll to reflect the truth of the matter?

Correct, I am offended that he has suggested a moral dilemma exists where it doesn't when the correct course of action to be taken is already available in the public domain should the public wish to read up on it.
However it is warming to note that he is now able to inform his housemates where to find the correct information so as to bring peace in our time to his house for the rest of the evening
