Last year it was the year of the beany hat but this year at Blackpool all the "cool" guys wore trilbys. Reminds me of the time when you had to have your jacket sleeves rolled up. There were 3 guys and a girl along from me all wearing them. I really think they were just taking the p*ss though

There were also a few stetsons & the usual assortment of beards & pony tails. Magicians always seem to wear jackets too.

Nope, it was because Primark were selling them at £2.50 each!

I love my trilby! and it was not from primark.
I have been sporting this look on previous conventions and think the followers are only just catching on - hence next year I shall be wearing a knotted handkerchief, which will also come in handy for various tricks and can be safely stowed away in the overhead TT.

Apparently Primark Blackpool sold right out of them over the weekend, I'll bet the bigwigs at head office are having sleepless nights trying to figure out why!

No, I just bought a black bowler hat, am sticking with it and being a trend setter I reckon it will be fashionable again after I've stopped wearing it.
