Alright folks...just got back home from the first show...heres what it involves..
Basicaly its a show with russian dancing, singing and ballet.

A ruskie! comes on at the start of the show and the stage is set in winter and he warms up the crowd priming everyone for what they are about to see. Then there is some russian dancing based on a winters day, impressive with high kicks and flips.
Then, im tryin 2 remember the order because the preproduction show as in a different order so i may b getting ixed up here. anyway..im pretty sure the band plays now, acorddian, balack (russian guitar type instrument, dunno if ive spelt it right?) bass balack, and another guitar type thing..very good musicianship but we need to sort out the bass sound for tomorrow at dundee..and another hing, their sound engineer speaks in very broken english so were having very hand animated conversations at the minute..i still dont know if he really understands me and im not sure if im understanding him but he was happy tonite with everything.....
Yess...i digress..so the show carrys on through the different seasons with a mixture of badn instrumentals...ballet...gymnastics..and russian dancing.
if you like seing impressive gymnastics and dancing,,then this is yr thing. ifound some of the singin a little tedious but the dancing and gymnastics were very, very impressive.
I dunno if ill have much internet acces during the tour, but if you do decide to go to one of the shows ill be sitting by the mixing desk nexto a russian bloke dressed in a army uniform?? give me a shout during the intervall and well have a chat!
Catchaalllater!!

I look after backstage sound now that Andri the russian sound engineer is confident, i walk on stage with microphones for the band and walk off again, whehey,,,,the russain ballet dancer andother Andri summed up the show tonite, he said in boken english,
"what are these called in english" cupping his hands like he had breasts so i told him and he came out whith the perfect line to see the show...
"come to see moscow by night and see many russian girls and many tits!"
