Has anyone out there had a copy yet of the 'Super Deluxe' version of Charles Gaucci's Eye to Eye trick.

I have the original Eye to Eye and I've watched the video of the new version on
www.my-magicshop.com but the performance looks identical to the original version. Problem I have with the original is that some people have spotted the gimmick eventually.

I'd like to think that this problem had been overcome but I can't tell from the video which uses the same performance as the original version of the trick and which doesn't really match the description given which states 'Show your hands empty, wave over the spectators hand and name the hand which is holding the medallion'.

It could be that the 'looking deeply into the specs eyes' is now just being used as a distraction from the real gimmick which is now elsewhere but as its also about double the price of the original, I'd just like to get some comfort if poss that the extra cost is worth it, if anyone can give it.

Can't imagine how you can significanly move the gimmick, only thing you can do is have something to hide it. Much easier if your a woman.

Tom is this the alternative that is very close to the original and involves something sticky or or we talking of a completely new idea?

I also have been using a different handling which is a lot more safer, pm me if you want more details.

I've e-mailed Stefan at www.my-magicshop.com and he has given me an explanation of how the Super Deuxe Eye to Eye and another similar trick called Body Language both work.

I've ordered Body Language because I thing I will be able to use the gimmick to do both tricks (albeit I won't have a medallion) but I've got plenty of other objects for the spec to hold which should work just as well.

From what Stefan says it is a completely new type of gimmick compared with the old Eye to Eye method and should remove the chance of the audience spotting something unusual.

I just hope it works. I'll let you know.

Yeah it does work, that is in fact the method Roman59 is talking about and he has successfully used it.
