Killer Elite Pro - Repair

Postby Mr Toucan » Mar 16th, '11, 13:05

Hi,

My Killer Elite Pro wallet is starting to suffer from overuse and the lettering on it is now illegible. Anybody have any suggestions on replacing the lettering?

Thanks,

James

I have a few suggestions:

Permanent marker (metallic or white) - could be scribbled like a handwritten note

Stick-on vinyl lettering

Cut out colourful and various sizes of lettering from magazines and arrange them like a ransom note. I have a few of my own effects which use this idea. You may have to seal it in some way (perhaps a spray?)

Hope this helps,
G

Thanks for the ideas Grant. I think I may go with the metallic marker. In some ways I think the handwritten message may actually look better than the preprinted message - as though you had written it especially for that particular occasion.

It will almost certainly beat the way I was going to go for it - stencilling. Oh those nightmare memories of late 1980's decor!

Cheers,

James
