Svengali and Stripper decks?

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Belfast Ideal Home early 80s, we have discussed it at some length already Mark. I had hoped that just because you are now a bestselling wordsmith you were not going to forget your deeply devoted fans quite so easily.

You should not underestimate the impact on an impressionable youth of showing him that the deck is comprised of 52 different cards, then 52 identical cards. My mind has been somewhat discombobulated ever since. Not to mention my resentment of mein papa for being too tight to splash for a deck.

I don't remember discussing it but I shall take your word for it. After all, I certainly worked the Belfast Ideal Homes Exhibition many times. I vaguely remember one grafter throwing the other over the balcony in a fit of irritation.

Those were the days...............................

The trick so to speak in using any gimmicked deck is to make it look natural.

Consider to, if the effect can be accomplished using a more natural sleight?

Will the effect be enhanced by using a gimmicked deck.

Does it look better with the gimmicked deck?

Am I proficient enough to get away with the deck, unsuspectingly?

Are my spectators savvy enough to bust me with the deck, or will they reach for it, and if so do I have a way to switch decks?

Just some things to consider.

Totally under-rated in my book, the old sven deck.

Having demo'd these day in, day out I can categorically say they are not as known as people assume. And as for versatility ... well ...

haha x

But totally reccomend Mr lewis's long and short of it book, taught me well (and I know those who know me will probably think eh, but yes I can do all sorts with a sven haha)

and anything by Tomo is bound to be clear, concise and useful.
