The spelling of his name in the video was different than what I've seen before (I saw Lu Chen in the past), but it's the same guy. He's Taiwanese and very, very skillful. He's going to be in LA at some point in the next few weeks and with any luck I'll be able to catch his show.

But man I hate watching that video because the "best bit" only works if you have a cameraman willing to kneel down and shoot from a certain angle while you do the dirty business. Any other situation and there is no magical effect there. ANd having people vital to the method visible the entire time, meh. That's got to be the worst angle to ever watch a magical performance from, right behind the performer. Makes it pretty obvious why they are there.


He has much better clips out there where he is doing some fantastic "not just for youtube" magic.

His sleight of hand is so bloody good.I've watchd hours of his youtube magic over the past few weeks and I must say that his performances are excellent even though I don't understand.He does some good tricks that will blow you away as a magician.
