The Effect

A Drink With Death is a psychic effect that has been designed with modern props and has a contemporary presentation. For this effect it is not necessary to have a darkened room or candlelight - though you can if you wish of course. The props are designed to sit comfortably on your coffee table or mantle piece in any lounge or dining room ready for you to perform - you can even use them as regular coasters!

I purchased this a while back but was 'out of the loop' so thought it was time to post my thoughts. When you open the box you will find a nice black wood coaster holder and six black wood coasters. Each coaster has a plaque on one side. Those of you who have any of Keith's effects will know that he always provides great quality props and this is certainly the case with these. You also receive a nice instruction booklet with a scripted routine, but i always write my own scripts. These look great on my shelf and i always demonstrate this effect when people come to visit. Of course this is not just an effect for the home, it is a great piece to perform during your show.

So lets talk about the routine itself. Not much to say as it is what it is. It is a very simple but effective piece of magick or psychic entertainment. You could play this with a dark theme or something a little lighter. Whatever you choose you will have a solid, real World effect that can be performed again and again (no reset). Of course you need table space so not something for strolling but ideal for any seated performance. The length of the routine will depend on the script you use. You may do this quickly in a couple of minutes or spend longer to weave a longer, more involved story.
