Chris Beard: Berglas Chair Routine

Postby Beardy » Apr 4th, '11, 19:10

A Chair Routine influenced strongly by David Berglas. I have no idea if this is the method he uses (probably not as I messed up!). I have never seen this performed before, and only heard through the grapevine about Berglas performing this, so this is more how I imagine the effect to look.

This was the first time I ever tried out this routine and this method, and although it didn't work, I was happy with it. Although I did mess up, I will be performing it again and try out a few different presentations.

This was the end of an hour-long show.

I have this video as privateised so only you guys can see it rather than anybody being able to see it. I have done this because it's always nice to have feedback, even if stuff goes wrong.

As I said, this was the first time I have ever done this routine, and have been planning it since May time of last year.

Enjoy!

Even though a little bit was wrong, I still had people come up to me afterwards amazed at it. Confuddlingly, they were also amazed by the subequent revelations, and didn't care! I guess that goes to show once again...presentation presentation presentation!

Love

I found it rather enjoyable to watch. The performance was well done and though your methods are simular to THE CALLENDAR CHAIRS by David Berglas the over all effect is differant :D

the subsequent revelations really added to it as a kicker effect. So you got two the wrong way around, but you handled it nicely and went on to reveal the other bits nicely. I'm sure in a few days most will have forgotten you got 2 the wrong way round entirely.
