Also got tickets for the Dr Who experience at Olympia for just after the new series starts - it's going to be Who-mania in my house for the next few months!!!

It's never to soon to get excited about the Doctor!

When does the new series air?

Is it true Neil Gaiman wrote some of the episodes?

Certainly is! Apparently it's due to air as either the 3rd or 4th episode of the new series (depending on which sites/magazines you read!)

At least we won't have to wait until the Autumn to see it... whilst I have complete faith in Steven Moffat's handling of the show, I'm still not sure about this idea of slicing the new series into two halves with a cliffhanger seventh episode sometime in June.... How am I going to make it through the Summer????

Supposedly the Silence is going to be scarier/creeper than the Weeping Angels and it will actually be a monster.

Also a friend of mine said he was at a panel at Wondercon about the show and they had a few teasers. Like one of the episodes may deal with Time Lord ghosts.

I heard you see/find out about the silence in episode 1? Not certain though..

:-) There's that great quote in the trailer where an unseen foe says "Fear me, I've killed hundreds of Time Lords"

The doctor shrugs and replies "Fear me, I killed all of them"
