Buying the right Microphone

Postby Edantes » Apr 25th, '11, 22:21

Up till recently I've used the same microphone that I bought on Ebay a while ago but unfortunately it was damaged and now doesn't work. I'm taking this as an oportunity to buy a decent new one :)

I wondered if you could offer any advice on where to buy a headset mic for a reasonable price?

Thankyou

There is another thread about this somewhere I believe, but for me at the moment I am using a Maplins DJ Tech 50. It comes with several Wireless Microphones including a head set. The Pa won't fill the Albert Hall but it performs great for small halls and the like. It cost around £100. I only use it for Children's parties and they can get quite loud sometimes but I have never had any problems with the sound. What you go for I guess will depend on how big your venues are.
