The next monthly London magic/hypno meet is going to be a bit different and rather special. It's definitely going to be worth taking the day off working and travelling into London for this one.

We're going to link the meet with the start of the world (in)famous GUMBALL RALLY. On Thursday 26th May hundreds of stars from the worlds of TV, film, music, modelling and sport will be in Covent Garden with their cars, ready for a race across Europe. And these are not just any cars. Ferraris, Lambos, Bugattis, Paganis and plenty of whacky customisations. Last year there was even a Batmobile!

The Gumball events team will be putting on plenty of entertainment around Covent Garden during the day so spot the stars, drool over the cars and then, as they all roar off to Paris, let the magic and hypno take over. By popular demand we'll use the PORTERHOUSE (21 Maiden Lane, Covent Garden) as the central meeting point during the day and into the evening.

This promises to be a fantastic event - hope you can join us.

well , not very keen on people that organise road trips that accidentally kill people and then keep on running them

People get accidentally killed on the roads all over the place.

2 people died during the 2007 (I think?) Gumball rally due to a RTA. In that same year 2946 people died on the UK roads alone.

Just saying, met a fair few people that run on the gumball, not my cup of tea. Would rather smash plastic cups on stage in Britain's got no talent.
