Jeff Prace :: Cancer Fundraising ($3 tricks!)

Postby magicman4646 » May 7th, '11, 05:10

Hey guys,

Last year, in order to raise money for Relay For Life – an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society – I sold a download of one of my original card tricks. Much to my surprise, it was a smashing success and I raised over double the amount I was aiming for. This year, I step up my game and offer more magic than ever before. In video format, you will be able to learn some of my favorite original tricks - and at the same time you will be donating to a noble cause.

The money raised will be split between two moving organizations: Susan G. Komen's 3-Day for the Cure and Relay for Life.

3-Day for the Cure is a 60-mile walk to support breast cancer. It's one of the "biggest and boldest events in history" and all the participants share the belief that breast cancer must be brought to an end. One of my older sisters, Blair, will be participating in the walk occurring in Chicago. To learn more about this event, please visit: http://www.the3day.org

Relay for Life is an event sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The event is to "celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease." The event represents hope; we will not forget those who have lost their lives to cancer and those who have cancer will always be supported. The biggest hope is that cancer, one day, will be eliminated. "At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length." To learn more about this event, please visit: http://www.relayforlife.org

These two organizations are well worthy of any support, and they are always appreciative. I, too, appreciate any donations to help me in my fundraising.

This year, in order to raise as much money as possible, I am including "levels" with the donations. This is a new incentive that I am trying out, as the more you donate, the more magic you will receive! To learn more about this system, please visit my fundraising website: http://www.JeffPraceMagic.com/fundraising

You have the option to choose from nine different tricks. Each of these effects has served me well for the past few years. You will find a combination of published and un-published tricks. These tricks utilize a plethora of different objects – from train tickets to cards, from markers to pencil erasers. There is truly something for everyone. To learn more about each of the trick, visit: http://www.JeffPraceMagic.com/fundraising

Also, all the money raised from selling my GUM DVD and my new, unreleased trick Where Time Stands Still (coming soon) will be going towards my fundraising. If you don’t yet have these products, now is the perfect time to buy them.

For as little as $3, you will be making a difference in a cancer patient’s life and you will be receiving great magic. Please donate as little or as much as you can; every cent counts.

If my flash website isn't working for you, I have designed a blog that contains the same information but will be visible on all computers. Thanks for donating!

I'm very excited to announce that my friend Chris Beason has contributed a PDF titled the 21st Century Haunted Pack and it will be included with all donations. This 30 page e-book contains his innovative take on the classic Al Baker effect. Remember, this is included in every donation, no matter how big or small!

Just to clarify, if you make a $10 donation, you get three tricks; one from each level. A $6 donation will get you two tricks - one from each of the first two levels. $30 will get you all nine tricks!

Donations are still going strong for the two great organizations and the tricks themselves have received a great response! Keep them coming!

I'm very pleased to announce that my trick Where Time Stands Still is now being sold in order to raise money for these two great organizations. A long time in the works, this has become my number one go to card effect as long as I'm carrying my wallet and I can borrow a deck of cards. For only $6, you will get a custom designed card and a URL where you can watch an in-studio explanation. The card is the same size and thickness as a credit card.

It's a real bargain for $6, and the money goes to a great cause!

Hey guys,

My fundraising for cancer research has been going great. Already, I raised more money than I did last year and the donations are steadily coming in. Thanks!

I decided to put together a combo deal that will give you everything for a great price. ALL the money raised from this will go to either The American Cancer Society or Susan G. Komen's For the Cure. These are two great organizations and are always appreciative of any support.

Here's what you get in the combo deal:
-GUM DVD
-Where Time Stands Still
-ALL nine video downloads (including two bonus PDFs!)
-Bonus PDF from Chris Beason

This material is valued at over $60. You can get it for the price of the GUM DVD – $24.95. That's more than 50% off. For less than $25, you are getting 15 workable effects, ranging from tricks using cards to tricks using erasers. To order this combo deal and donate to a great organization, just purchase the GUM DVD directly from me:

http://www.jeffpracemagic.com/gum

I will send you the 11 downloads via email in less than 24 hours. I will ship the GUM DVD and props for Where Time Stands Still together. This deal can't be beat!!

If you are only interested in one or two of the downloads, remember, you can purchase them separately for as little as $3 each: http://www.jeffpracemagic.com/fundraising

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.

Thanks for listening!

Jeff

I’ve had a blast keeping up with my cancer fundraising over the past few months. Sadly, the fun had to come to an end eventually. So, with that said, my cancer fundraising is officially completed!

This year, not only did I raise more than I expected, I nearly doubled what I raised last year. It was a huge success! All the money has been donated to the two great organizations and they are very appreciative of all the donations. I, too, would like to thank everyone who helped and donated!

I do plan on doing this again next year, so keep your eyes open!

Thanks again to everyone who participated in this event.
