Copperfield joins EMC

We are very happy to announce that David Copperfield will be joining us via live video link from Las Vegas and giving an exclusive interview for EMC members. You will have a chance to choose the questions. This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of the greatest magicians ever, a performer who redefined what it meant to be an illusionist in modern times. We were thrilled when David Copperfield agreed to the interview but then he surprised us with another exclusive, a virtual tour of his museum of magic in Las Vegas!

As part of the conference David Copperfield will be giving us a live tour of his amazing museum of magic in Las Vegas. This is one of the most magnificent collections of magic ever assembled. And our tour will be conducted personally via David Copperfield. Register now and take the tour as part of the Essential Magic Conference. And look out for our request for questions for David Copperfield. We want you to help build this exclusive interview.

Looks really good! My first thought was "Hmm, but do you get a DVD?" - and you do!

So that's pretty awesome!

I have spent this afternoon rewatching the DVDs from last year's event whilst waiting for someone from the council to make an appearance.

If I can get the funds together, I'll be "Attending" this year's too.

Watching: Jeeves and Wooster

It's going to be good, excited about the Copperfield thing, going to think of a questions - hopefully you can post them before, because I'm away during the actual convention.

It's a shame that nearly half the speakers are the same as last year, it would have been nice to see a few years before they start recycling them.

Now that's just plain silly! Just register directly at: EMC
PS. Just sent them this question, awaiting a reply.

There is an explanation to most things:

Just booked my pass for this year - excited now.

Like I said, I'm away when it's actually on, but will watch some of it when I get back, and some when the DVDs arrive - this is my kind of convention, sit back at home, relax, very theory based, magicians I've never heard of, and some super big names.

I loved that passion for magic series, and hope they can find time to do a few more of those.
I just re-watched one of my favourite videos from last year.

There's little chance I'm going to be able to see it all live - will the DVDs cover everything? Will I have the complete conference to watch at my leisure?

It'll be well worth forking out if that's how it works.

For 2010, the sessions were available a few days after the event in their 2-3 hour blocks. It took them a fair while to split each down to each lecture, but it covers everything on the live shows...
