'Matthew Johnson got his start in the world of magic at a very young age. At
just 7 years old Matthew got the gift of a magic set and the bug bit! Through
his teen years Matthew put in countless hours of practice with some of the
finest magicians in the UK, who literally took Matthew under their wing. After graduating from College, Matthew Johnson decided to set out and make a go of it as a full time magician & make a go of it he did!

Matthew's first professional show was aboard a P&O cruise ship in Europe where he literally ironed out his craft as the ships resident magician. Matthew performed an unheard of 2 shows a day, 7 days a week.
He did this for 2 (very succesful) years.

It appears that Matthew's reputation proceeded him and he was offered the title of resident magician at the Hilton Hotel in Nagoya, Japan. After spending 2 more succesful years in Japan Matthew decided to move to Vancouver, Canada. Since moving to Vancouver in the winter of 1998 Matthew has established himself as one of the leading magical entertainers in North America. His clients read like a fortune 500 list and include companies such as Microsoft, Mercedes, AT&T & Ford to name but a few.

In the past couple of years Matthew has also become an established actor, author, lecturer & inventor of magic and teaches magic to magicians
worldwide. A google search on "Magic by Matthew Johnson" will literally
turn up magic stores all over the world that sell his products for magicians.
The atributes that truly set this Vancouver based magician apart however
