Prove just how generous the magical fraternity really is!!

Postby TimEden » May 15th, '11, 21:34

I'm an amateur hobbyist about to embark on my first magic show in aid of CANCER RESEARCH UK.

As such I have set up a JustGiving site.

I'm not sending this out to invite people (I'm nervous enough!!!) but just thought....

What if 100 or so people read this and just gave at least £1 each simply by clicking on:

www.justgiving.com/tim-eden

That would be a start!!

I hope the mods think this is appropriate. I know so many who have suffered or lost the battle against cancer in the last year or so, and am sure many of you do too.

As with any charity request, every contribution however small is valued.

Worth a try? Make me proud...

Tim

this is really great Tim, I've seen your close-up handywork and it never fails to impress. I'm sure you're going to have a terrific evening.

Well done mate, donation sent.

This is a great cause - i hope you reach your target and im sending you all my best wishes for it.

Something ive not been broadcasting around is that i am having a biopsy myself at the end of this week.. alas several of my moles look to be cancerous, so this is a cause close to home..
I also lost both grandparents to cancer.

I do not have much money at this time but i have donated what i can sir <3

Best wishes for the show. Cancer Research UK is one of the charities I actively support.

My website www.magic4charity.co.uk holds a list of UK magicians who donate time or fees to worthy causes and advertises events such as this.

Providing and maintaining this website is one of the ways that I help charities, so it is free for any UK magicians to use.

PM me if you would like to have your show mentioned.

Any UK magicians wanting to add their details to magic4charity should go to the magician's area and type the username 'newuser' (no password) to start adding their details.

Thanks, and I hope you raise lots of money.

Thanks loads for your contribution Amy - very much appreciated!

Thanks for the link/kind wishes Gordon. I probably don't want to publicise the event to that degree. Crazy I know if I want to raise lots of money but I'm generally keeping it to friends and friends of friends as it's my first time out.

Thanks, Dave.

Went really well. I'm going to beat myself up for a couple of things which didn't go 100% but generally it all went amazingly well and the audience were great!

Raised £1,180!!!

So pleased.
