Magic books by post

Postby Jobasha » May 27th, '11, 17:29

Does anyone know any other contact details for magic books by post? I ordered hellstromism by Robert Nelson a few weeks back and got sent hellstromism by S.W. Reilly. An easy mistake to make, I'm not annoyed by it, but do want what I ordered. I've tried the form on their site, the email address of their paypal and ringing. I've left an answering machine message, but not had a reply. I've ordered lots of times from them and am sure they'll sort it, just want to manage to get through to them.

Just keep trying. I do know that Paul Cooke is very busy at the moment with all his magical advisor stuff.

I've had another problem with an order and I'm not getting though. Tried the contact, form, email, phone and facebook. I'm not very happy as I've essentially had £40 stolen at the moment. I'd never had a problem before with ordering from them, but now had two in a row. Does anyone know any other contact details or knows him and can draw his attention to this issue.

Paul Cooke. A very nice guy, who knows so much about magic, it puts thee & me to shame.
His main job is advising most of the magic productions that air here in the uk, including Dynamo, and the magicians for BBC1, which means hes always busy.I have to admit..I do miss seeing the wallaces behind the stand. But seeing them at the bristol convention in may, proved that retirement has done them both some good.

I've found him nice the few times I've met him through the magic circle, so I didn't really want to have to ask here. But then I'm £40 down with nothing to show for it.

It wouldnt surprise me if hes in the states at the mo.

try ringing him, because somebody must be looking after the shop, and if they are.. then they are not doing a good job.

this isnt the first time ive read this kind of post over the last couple of months.

Just to let people know this has been sorted out satisfactory. Paul got in touch and has been very apologetic and decent about making sure I was happy.
