pre-show work

Postby Nic Castle » Jun 4th, '11, 21:22

Recently I have been putting some mentalism into my routine. I bought Becky's book Mind Fluff which is excellent. It started me thinking about pre-show work. It looks like a great tool for mentalist but I have not been able to find any books that cover the subject in any detail. There seems to be many ways of doing it as well as the consideration of do you do it yourself or does someone else do it for you.

Does anyone know of any books and what advice can you give about pre-show work.

That's true.

It's the fourteenth step to mentalism.

I don't know if it's the "final say", although it's certainly the best resource I've found so far. The methodology in each effect is very similar though, so it's certainly not an all-encompassing look at various techniques.

Your reality, sir, is lies and balderdash, and I'm delighted to say that I have no grasp of it whatsoever.
