Very good.I can imagine the suspense being built more with a hanky actually.I've never seen it done with one but I've seen the envelope version.
I can definetly see it creating more time misdirection too making the switch impossible.Hankys aren't really my style but it seems to work well for you.I initially thought you were using it to avoid flashing as you have to be conscious of not flashing it while it's in play.
I do the standard routine with replacing their card in a tilt. Then take the top card and show their card can not be on top. Then I put the deck into their hand with just their card on top.I don't like DLing with an omni deck in play. It's far too bold for my liking.I then tell them that I'm going to find their card whilst it's in their hand.I take off the top card, their card, the only card and they're pretty amazed. Then I explain that the trick was too easy because it was the only card in their hand. This causes confusion as I tell them to open their hands and bang.
I got the ultimate ID by Shawn Farquar which is pretty much an omni deck but its made slightly thinner for DLing.I don't really like his deck switch so I just do it as I turn my back as they sign their card although I feel a little uncomfortable doing this sometimes.Do you use this switch??
Sorry if this is exposure and please do edit it accordingly if needed. Not that I need to give permission anyways.
