I have been thinking about future possibilities and realised that without a form of assistant, when it comes to light and sound control, I am going to struggle when performing, so, is there any software where you can set up a performance on a laptop then it is automated while you perform ?

I saw something at Pontins a while ago but cannot remember what is it called, it was perfect as it controlled lights and all sound for a performance/show.
