hello I recently purchased the daniel garcia dvd with the pop 2.0 trick, for the ones that havent heard of it this is how it goes

spectator selects a card and signs it
blows up a baloon and holds it
signed card gets placed in the middel of deck and deck riffles near balloon
ask the spectator to shake the balloon (they will feel and hear something inside)
u ask them to hold the balloon while u pop it with a needle

Balloon parts fly everywhere and the signed selection is left on THEIR hands...

I do this trick now 3 times a week at pubs street and everywhere else... and I love it!

although I had a few occasions where I had a PrematureRevelation

I hope this aint exposure but I dont know how to ask otherwise...

When they blow up the balloon they sometimes say hey there is something in there (whilst the card is still faceup in my hand...) what do I do ?

I first said no there s not : but that raises more suspicion

I tried a gag like yeahh AIR or... yeah rubber

but it diminishes the effect allot when they say yeah i feel something or i can hear something in it atleast (BEFORE I MADE THE CARD GO IN THE BALLOON) when i did the riffle they should notice it

Im not familiar with Daniels method for this, but couldnt you just blow up the balloon yourself and give it to them to hold ?

i could but i like the hands off method he does better... and it could have the same result when i hand it to them ... i self think it raises more suspision if i blow the balloon up

I don't know this effect, but here is my opinion from what you have said.

If they notice there is something already in the balloon, and you still have their card in your hands...... why not just say, "Yeah there is. We'll get to that in a minute!"

If they notice that there is something IN the balloon while they can still see there card, then whatever is in the balloon cannot be there card. And then, tada, it is. Should that not strengthen the effect?

Again, I'm not familiar with the working behind this effect - but can the balloon not be blown up by the spectator after the signed card has been returned to the deck?

@grant ehm yes the card is signed before blowing up the balloon... but i want to show them the card untill its tied:) so that there is no way for me to sneak it in... so after they tied it i push it in the deck.

yeah but they then know there is something in from the start and wonder what it is... ofcourse they will never find out what it is but they can backtrack how it is done ...

and indeed when they blow it up and there card is still faceup in full view:) they realize that can never be there card... but when the timing is correct and they only realize the load in the balloon after u made the card magicly jump inside .... they will be astonished;)

oh and the problem is when they feel it inside they let the air out and feel... (that eliminates that its a card in there) etc;)

but no one has an idea? ... is it better to blow it up myself why they still have the card signed and holded:)?

because i recently came to the conclusion 20% of the people cant freaking tie a knot in a balloon and 5% of the girls blow air into the balloon and then get another gasp of air to put in the balloon (but they do it through there mouth) so it doesnt go anywhere ... i seriously waited 2 minutes for it to be the right size...
