Just a note to say that Alan Duncan will be performing his Close Up Lecture at Glasgow Magic Circle on Tuesday 12th October 2004. Entry to this lecture is “free” to anyone who can prove membership of a magic society or a proven pedigree in magic.

The lecture will be held in the Next Generation Club Anniesland Glasgow at 7.30 pm. Details of how to find the venue are at Glasgow Magic Circle


Alan has over 20 years in magic working as a performer , dealer and innovator and has various awards to prove his success.

Well the lecture did not turn out as billed (close up) but was a mixture of items mainly stand up cabaret. There was quite a bit of discussion on having an out if something goes wrong and the junior members of the club received good advice form some of the visitors.

It was poorly structured and off topic but turned out entertaining in the end!!!!
