If it helps I was the 35th voter and at 34 votes it was 50/50 (17 each) and without reading the thread voted Heads and was surprised to see my vote made it 18 Heads, 17 Tails.

Aye. I've set up a Survey Monkey questionnaire on this to avoid the possibility that the posts are swinging it. And just like a bunch of magicians to overthink things!
