Introduction!

Postby Reverend Martinez » Aug 11th, '11, 20:43

Hi guys,

Possibly a the wrong way to do things as I've posted already but not as an introduction! I needed a little help with a sleight!

Been looking around for a little while and decided it was time to say hi to all you folks!

My name is Rob and I've been studying card tricks and the like for about six months. Really enjoying it. Tried my hand a coins but haven't really got far with it so switched to the sponge balls instead after finding something on youtube by Steve Dacri!

I live in Yeovil, Somerset and was wondering if there were any clubs/tutors in the area that I could possibly come down and chat to.

I've had some real good advice so far on here, and am impressed by the genuine attitude of the people I have spoken to.

Anyway, thats about everything for my intro. Hopefully see some people about the bazaars!

Cheers,

Rob

    Hi Rob, Welcome to TM.

Stick with the coins though mate, they can be difficult to learn but it's well worth it.

Also if it was easy everyone would be doing it and then it wouldn't be special any more. May i suggest you get yourself a copy of Bobo's coin magic it's a classic text on the subject

    All the best,
    Sam.

Perhaps your right Sam, I'll have a little look at Bobo again. He was too easily cast aside!

    Cheers!
