IKEA have booked Simon to entertain customers with his sleight of hand and close up magic!

The series of shows will commence on August Bank Holiday Weekend, 28th and 29th August -IKEA Wembley.

Simon, if you don't mind me asking - what do you actually do at Ikea?
Obviously magic, but aren't people shopping? - what sort of style magic are you performing, and how does it fit in with the customers?
I presuming Ikea are happy with it, as they booked you back, but it seems like a strange sell - I wouldn't know where to start on the benefits they might get from a magician in a furniture shop.

In IKEA you can find a very busy restaurant area, this is main place where I'm performing close up magic- table hopping, also people sometime can wait 30 minutes in checkouts area- thats another place where magician can provide some close up magic entertainment. Another place- little bit more hard- its a returns area- people over there are little bit angry becouse they want to return a product- but most time they are happy that they can watch some close up magic during the time they waiting. Oh and the delivery services area. Just go to IKEA and you will see lots of opportunities where you can perform. Magic is good for everywhere! even furniture store!
