Pkt Trick Wallett

Postby CArlight1958 » Aug 19th, '11, 08:15

I have quite a few good Pkt tricks I would like to carry around with me.

I was looking for a really nice leather wallet which will hold quite a few of these tricks, ready to perform.

Any suggestion's as to which is the best would be appreciated.

Many Thanks.

Thanks Stephen,

Found another one on here...

http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/acatalog/P ... ories.html

A leather wallet, 115mm (4½") wide by 180mm (7") with gilt corners, 2 large internal pockets and 10 smaller pockets to hold

This holds more cards, & it's a little cheaper.
What do you think?

Make sure when you perform that you have an adequate justification as to why you are not performing the routine with cards from a regular deck.

Just out of interest, do any of the packet tricks you perform end clean? (i.e. are the cards examinable at the end?)

What I usually say SJ is.

It's much easier to have the cards ready this way, & quicker, rather than having to sort through the whole deck, & yes all of the Colombini routines end clean.
Except a couple, & then you only need the deck close, so as to allow you to dump a couple of cards off.

You know, I was in Raymans buying a photo album and saw an item they had there for £5 that is designed to hold up to 10 credit cards I think.

I checked out that the pockets were large enough to hold bicycle cards and they are so it could be a great little item. I meant to post it on here last week but forgot all about it.

Sounds good Agecroft,

The company has just called me, & said they are out of stock, but have one which has been handled, & I can have it for £15.

So result eh.

To be honest it could even be designed to hold 20 credit cards so a definte saving.

I would use it for sure anyway as it's certainly smart enough. Get your self down there with a few playing cards and check that it meets your needs. Assuming you have one close to hand.

Do you recall what it was vaguely called? Trying to look on the Ryman's website with no luck. Sounds like it could be ideal for holding ESP cards.

As a cheaper alternative, and something I've found works wonders is the 8 sleeve plastic wallet packet trick holder from Cards4Magic: honestly just go on that site and look at this three quarters of the page down.

http://www.cards4magic.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh ... 4883#a4883

It's three quid and is so thin, and as pocket space is truly gold dust (not just to prevent bulky pockets, but pocket management is absolutely essential if, like me, you don't always reset tricks, these wallets really do help with pocket management. I've held my fave packet tricks there, and it really is handy as you can see the cards so you know in a glance where everything is.

There is a sense of almost loading up on miracles, like ammo, and even though you may well forget what you actually have on you, the knowledge of having pretty much the kitchen sink is actually quite reassuring.
