Help with my coin routine

Postby donpisci » Aug 20th, '11, 17:31

Hi guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble putting a close-up coin routine together.

I'm after an effect that uses 3/4 un-gimmicked coins that are all the same and can slot in between a 4 coin coins across with a s**** (into the specs hand) and my handling of the gaddabout coins.

When table- hopping, I tend to do Hanging Coins, but this doesn't really work when surrounded as I am a bit of a short-ar*e and that ruins the angles!

Any ideas of any effects and its source?

Thanks!

Ungimmicked 3 fly - Menage et Trois by Chris Kenner in his Totally Out of Control book.

I know you said ungimmicked but have a look at CoinOne by Homer Liwag is a fantasic routine that can be performed pretty much surrounded. It's best performed standing at a table or seated.

I'll second coins to spectator's pocket, Gary Jones' lecture DVD has a good version.

Ron Bauer's version of "Gadabout Coins".
One sleight, 3/4 coins.
Wonderful effect, patter can be adapted to all ages. Works best with "soft" coins, and you need jacket/trouser pockets.
