Hello,
I´m having trouble with my C´s and B´s because I cant control the balls, they roll all over the table. Will a close up mat stop this?If not what do you suggest?

I had this problem while busking a couple days ago. I ended up using a small towel I had as a table cloth, and it worked. The texture helped keep things still.

Currently Reading "House of Mystery" (Abbott, Teller), Tarbell, Everything I can on busking

Yes, a close up mat will help with this. Also, I find that the crocheted (excuse the spelling) balls tend not to roll around even on a slick table so it might be worth thinking about picking up a set. :)

Yes, as mentioned a close up mat/cloth covered table will help control the balls. What kind of balls are you using ? I use Mike Rogers Mini Baseballs which are easy to control. The Monkey Fist balls have a squarer profile and wont roll about either.
When you say they are rolling about do you mean for certain moves such as the Charlie Miller penetration, or do you mean when they are supposed to be still ? If its the latter it may just be that your table isnt level.

I´m using standard(I believe they´re standard) rubber red balls(https://www.tannens.com/shop/secure/ima ... s/1995.jpg).I´d love to have mini baseballs but I dont want to order separetely from Michael Ammar(that is the only place I can get them right?).They are rolling when they are supposed to be still....

I know this is going to sound condescending but, have you tried just placing them where you want them to stay? If you are an they roll then I think the problem is quite possible the unlevel table scenerio. The knit balls are usually very well trained, perhaps you are tossing them onto the table, or if you are talking about the reveal are you flicking them with the cups and making them roll? If so (I've seen this done on many occaision) then flick a little softer.

It sounds like the table top may not be level. You can't always do anything about that if its not your table top. But you can use balls that won't roll around so much. Make some plasticene balls or when I was in my youth I was taught to do Cups And Balls using screwed up kitchen-foil balls. You will never have balls rolling around problems with these.
