MONEY FOR OLD ROPE

Postby dat8962 » Oct 24th, '04, 17:15

I was wondering if anyoune could tell me what rope (thickness, nylon, cotton etc.) they prefer to use for a cut and restore, how much they pay per metre and where they buy from online?

I'm currently paying around 65p per metre for something that resembles pajama cord and is about 10mm diameter.

It works out at just under 60p per metre at the Magic Market, just in case you can't make it to Wakefield and you don't have a local magic dealer.

Like the rest of us non-celebrities...

Try Keith Bennett http://www.kbmagic.com/ He has a shop in Birmingham and does mail order. Rope is not listed on his website but I know he sells it. It's worth giving him a call (0121 628 9697): he's very helpful.
