Does anyone make their own ID, if so what do you use to, well, you know...?

From threads about the same sort of thing that ive seen most people say there cheap enough to just buy a new deck and not go through the hassle of re doing certain things yourself ;)

Hmmm, I think I might have a go anyway as I've dozens of bicycles. If it doesn't work I'll bite the bullet and spend £6!

PS - I like your avatar - is that a design you came up with yourself or is it from somewhere else?

I made my own. Just need some roughing spray (I got Testors dullcote from here http://www.firestormgames.co.uk/3302?keyword=testors&category_id=0 for £6.11 delivered), put all 52 cards out on some newspaper near a massive window along with a fan blowing towards the window (but not at the cards directly for obvious reasons) and gave them a spray (not too much and not too little), left it to dry and within a few hours I had my own ID. £8 with loads of dullcote left to make more. :D

Ah, I run a T Shirt designing/printing business called ACE Tees - a slightly modified version of that logo would be ideal on one of our shirts...

I had trouble finding testors but use an all purpose craft varnish (matt)

Best to leave overnight ( at least) to dry before assembling the deck

May I ask what you're using if you have this result?

Humbrol Matt Spray Varnish used to be recommended - dunno if it's still available.

Yupp I am using the humbrol matt spray. I don't mind the drying time but will hunt down testors once this runs out

I'm working near a retail park and can't find any shops that would stock this...

There's a b&q up the road, would this work?
