Redemption

Postby jon_kent » Sep 5th, '11, 18:40

This is my 1st review so sorry if its c*** (not the best) lol :)

Redemption

Cost

£27.99 from Alakazam.co.uk

Difficulty
(1=easy to do, 2=No sleights, but not so easy, 3=Some sleights used,
4=Advanced sleights used, 5=Suitable for experienced magicians only)

I'd say between a 1-3 as some routines are quite easy and some would need a bit of practise (as the wizard product review would say i opened this 30mins ago and i can already do it lol)

Review

I love it !! In the box you get either a red or blue deck of bikes, a good dvd with loads of different routines to try, the gimmick, and a load of duplicate cards to practice the routines where you tear or bend the card.

I Know everyone talks about this vs tool but i prefered the look of this as the gimmick doesnt involve the box so theres no need for tapping the box or putting the cards back into the box and then having something happen.

If anyone wants to know anything else just ask ! :)

The trailer looks amazing. I also like Chris's magic geek videos on their website...

Am baffled. Have no clue how this works. All I can say is, I hope it really is as clean looking in real life as in the vids.

I expect it involves carrying an extra deck around in some way, which is a problem for those of us who already carry an Extractor and a bunch of other decks. If so, that would be a downer for me, as I just can't spare the pocket space.

I'm just speculating as I really have no idea how it works.

Clearly the guy has short sleeves, so that's one good thing.

Unless that ten year old spectator has a hole in her hand? Could be a sort of spectral stooge?

You don't need to carry a whole deck around with you to perform this. Obviously there is a gimmick that you will need to reserve pocket space for but it's about the same size as a playing card.

I'm selling mine as it's not something I would get much use from.

See?

Your're all a terrible influence on me - I saw yet another PayPal confirmation screen today, and I'd like you to know it's all YOUR fault!
