hopefully no-one will have a problem with me posting this to try and help out some friends...
Most of you probably know Thom Peterson and Annabel de Vetten
Thom Peterson was refused his Spouse Visa granting him permission to reside permanently in the UK, mainly because the Home Office/UK Border Agency was unsatisfied with his wife Annabel de Vetten's self-employment situation. She is an artist and is looking to get letters from people who have purchased her work in the past, to help their appeal against the Home Office's decision.
Originally from Germany, she is classed as an EU citizen, qualifying Thom to apply for the Spouse Visa, but they want to see proof that she has been exercising her treaty rights in this country. In other words, working. Thom and Annabel want to send the Home Office as much information as possible, so that there is no shred of doubt that she has been working in this country and will continue to do so in the future. So letters from Annabel's clients would be really helpful on top of the regular bank statements, tax self-assessments etc they are sending the Home Office. This goes for paintings, prints, Jill Decks, and the gifts that Gifts4Magicians.com sell. The more paperwork they can send the better.
This appeal HAS to be successful, otherwise Thom will have to leave the country. The letters don't need to be long, just containing the main info, what you bought, when, and roughly how much you paid for it. No receipts are necessary. They both thank you in advance for your help and are extremely grateful for all the support they have already received since they got the bad news on Thursday.
So to make it clear, if you have ever brought anything of Annabels, this includes any of her wonderful paintings, prints, postcards, anything with these items printed on them (mugs etc from gifts4magicians), had a painting done for you, brought a Jill Deck, brought anyone any of the items by Annabel, PLEASE, contact her at
annabeldv@gmail.com stating that you've brought some of her work.
thanks for your time...
