afternoon... okay so ive come up with an effect, but one of the parts involves putting something into an envelope eg a £20 note, but then having that same note appear in my wallet. so for this would i need to look at 'card to wallet' gimmicks or is there something out there which i cant find of being able to get a note - which was seen to be put into an envelope then reappear in your wallet.....

Yes look at Burnt And Restored Banknote in Peter Eldin's "Pocket Book Of Magic" for the first part of the routine.

To conclude he makes the Banknote reappear restored inside an ungimmicked nest of boxes. This may not be the conclusion you are after, but I understand there are many gimmicked wallets on sale that you may be able to use instead of the boxes to make it reappear inside a wallet.

As for the reveal, a card to wallet would look great. For an added bonus, buy a Jerry o'Connell Plus wallet, and have the banknote appear in a sealed envelope
