Mine just arrived.

When I saw the utility itself, I was a bit narked, thinking it would be a high-maintenance whatnot. Having watched the DVD, it quickly becomes clear that it isn't.

It's immensely versatile.

It's marketed as a card to wallet, and I bought it for that purpose - whenever I do a card to wallet, I'm almost always asked to do it again. I like the idea of repeating it with a different method, and using their wallet.

I'll still do that, but card to wallet is only one of the things you can do with it. If you have this thing in play, it allows you to go all jazz with your card magic - improvising how, where or when you'll reveal their card.

And it doesn't have to be cards. I'm thinking of ways to use this thing for close-up Q&A. Seriously!

I've yet to play with this in performance, and will refrain from writing a proper review until I do... but hot damn!!

Pete

You know the worst thing about it all, I'm not the type of person that logs in and orders one thing

I'm like a kid in a sweet shop

I thought this was only available from one place, but after looking around it appears it is stocked at quite a few places with differing price ranges

Are people allowed to say where they bought theres from is it that against forum rules?

Was interested to see how much people paid as the place that sends me emails does not put VAT on until the last moment of the order (as I found at last time!)

I don't see why forum members shouldn't post up the best deals they've found - after all, it encourages competitiveness and helps your fellow TM'ers get the best possible price and/or service :D

That would be my logic as well, and as long as the forum member isn't an employee it does no harm

One last time Rob, seriously, how good is this gimmick?

Forget the gimmick, mate - concentrate on the effect...which REALLY does play out as seen in the demo vids; there is nothing cut-out of the vids which will be a disappointment (let's just say the effect is almost certainly worth MORE than the asking price!!)

I would say forget the effect, marvel at the gimmick. Or, more appropriately, explore everything that the gimmick allows you to do.

Like all the best gimmicks, this is remarkably low-tech. It's simple and just as reliable as you are. You could make one yourself very cheaply - but you couldn't make it quickly or easily, and on that score, the price is very much justified.

It doesn't replace sleights. There is some handling to get used to. But it's only a couple of moves - and from there, you'll be playing and experimenting and plotting and scheming like a wild thing (or at least you should be).

At the very least, it'll encourage you to revisit some of your favourite card effects and streamline the handling in an outrageously free and easy manner.

And did I mention that it requires no pocket space and there's no chance of flashing the gimmick?

I like.
