Without wishing to be a viscious tease, this is a truly extraordinary piece of kit, and is so damn easy to use (...and KILLS the specs every time!!!)

Just get it - you WON'T regret the purchase price

Have you got this Rob ? It sounds good but the trailer looks edited to make it look cleaner ?

The trailer obviously doesn't show the full effect, presumably to stop us CUPS addicts deconstructing, but it really is pretty clean, and the move(s) involved are easy, and take place under some very natural cover (which is about all I can say, without skirting close to exposure!)

The phrase "Holy Grail" is brandished about a lot sometimes: marketed effects purporting to be the "holy grail" of mentalism, the holy grail of in-the-hands magic, often with some effects having puns on "holy", such as "Holy Sh*t" (great effect). However, the premise of a spectator, suddenly taking their wallet out, thinking: "get outta here!" is something, personally, I'd joked about... only to say: "na, only messin'!". With this effect, I do feel that this will be an effect that would have so many applications and uses, that it would in fact develop a status as being the "holy grail" of gimmicks.

Yes, there's criticism about the length of this DVD, but I like the fact it is a blank canvas, as perhaps with patter in general you can find yourself subsconsciously mimmicking the style of the creator. the joint creators, in terms of style represent a collision of old school and contemporary approaches. Whilst I'm not saying Kaylor is up there with the likes of Brown or Dynamo, the deviousness of this astonishingly obvious yet overlooked solution to a practical hold out does genuinely feel both classical, yet street magicky.

Whilst not having had the chance to try this on spectators, having played around with it, I can see a lot of uses: it's up there with Extractor in terms of card utility, and I'd imagine with some thought existing routines could benefit. It's almost like learning a new sleight, as it is satisfying that it's not a sense of wind-up-this-self-working-toy of a trick gimmick, it feels comfortable as the gimmick is to wear about yourself, perhaps feeling like you are able to pull of miracles at a moment's notice.

At roughly £25 inc postage internationally, I personally think it's highly durable and represents good value. If the idea of pulling out a card out of a spectator's wallet appeals, then the advertisement blurb is correct. With a bit of polish spectators will, in anticipation, truly believe they witnessed the impossible.

Guess it's ok.

This means another email in the morning "50 set to come in Monday, pre-order now"

I might just do that this time!

This was something that I've had my eye on and now that people are saying it is totally workable - I'm tempted!

This is very clever, I think I would use it for other things other than the wallet.

Not really my style but a very good idea. I wish I had thought of it.

Well as predicted more due in Friday and one of them will be mine!

My CUPS is well under control these days and until people actually received this the pre-publicity screamed 'unworkable!', but if it is a workable prop then it is something I definitely want.

Couple of quick questions.

If I wanted to make a "prediction" that was then put in to the wallet could this be used to make the prediction correct and does it have to be cards?
