Naked Mentalism 3 - Released Today

Postby Tomo » Oct 17th, '11, 08:56

After four years in secret development and covert testing, the third volume in this unique series is finally here. This time, we enter a darker world. As well as presenting yet more Naked effects, this book weaponises some of the “bugs” in human thinking uncovered by decades of experimental psychology and shows how to use them. Whether your style is psychic, intuitive, or master manipulator of the mind, these techniques will create compelling performances by weaving new realities in the minds of your spectators. Techniques from implanting new ideas without hypnosis to having spectators reliably conjure information that isn’t there are all presented and explained in detail.

"Clearly you love our art, Jon, and that’s truly shown in your new book. Very valuable information and great approaches. My good energy and blessing for you and your future Naked projects!" - Pablo Amirá

“This book, I believe, takes Paul Brook's 'Alchemical Tools' and shafts it, which is a compliment! I absolutely adore the credit/debit card effect. Simple, yet brilliant. And the approach to readings in chapter 11? Fantastic!” – Chris Beard

“I can talk about this book for hours on end but suffice to say that whomever buys it will be launched from the realm of Mentalist to the realm of Psychic, and the beauty is that whatever Jon says can be checked and proved correct." - Roni Shachnaey, mentalism and bizarre magic guru

Can I wait until Christmas for this.

Probably not. :(

You can ignore the "Ships in 3-5 business days". It's normally 3 days. Buy today and it should be with you on Thursday.

Congratulations, Tomo. If it's anything like the other two it'll be great!

Does this book stand on its own?
Does it superceded books 1 and 2 or do I need to buy them first to understand and use book 3 ?

I think I understand the principles of books 1 and 2 but obviously don't have the data.

Is there a package price for all 3 ?

Yes, it stands on its own. It's also applicable to non-mentalists.

I'm still working out how to offer a package. The main problem is deciding whether to write volume 4 or create a bundle now. Would people be upset if a new volume appears later?

No but as I own book 1 I would appreciate a "multi-buy" offer rather than a bundle; Any 2 for £x, Any 3 for £x etc. then it does not matter how many wonderful books you release in the future!

@Tomo
Are there any new FSGs in NM3 or effects by themselves?
P.s I loved the first NM, my imagination was spinning out of control.

Much respect and luck!

I bought the first from you at the last meet and mentioned I'll hopefully pick up the next one soon, so a combo deal would be welcome from me too.

On a slightly related note, I'm really enjoying volume 1 (I'm so behind the times!)

Not as behind as me, I'm still thinking about volume 1.

Quick reminder. Lulu's rather nice offer ends tonight.

Here's what Bob Cassidy said about the Naked Mentalism series over at the Magic Cafe this week:

"I must say this is refreshingly good and amazing material. Well thought out routines with the kind of presentational subtleties that are the hallmark (or should be) of professional mentalism.

    Highly recommended. "
