I went to an event on Saturday and saw a man have his head cut off.

You don't get that on Valentine's day!

Going to spend today in bed with a scary book and/or films (stupid ongoing sinusitis!), but a colleague and myself plus around 30 students did join one of the local parks at their Halloween event last Friday where we got to be spooky and scare little kids.

Much fun was had by all! :)

I have a pumpkin scarecrow climbing out of my gravel and another one vomiting up it's insides with a knife in the back of it's head.

I also trimmed back my lavender and used the cuttings to make a lovely pentagram for the door.

Next year I am going to book the week off as it is my daughters birthday and put some serious effort in to my Halloween festivities! :D

Happy Halloween everybody.

It's my favourite time of the year too. This year I spent the night working, but dressing up as a clown hammering nails into my face and juggling knives can hardly be called work in my book

Ah, Halloween- the only day of the year when it's acceptable to dress up as an abusive clown and threaten children and adults alike. The rest of the time is just 'weird' and 'evil' or 'illegal'.

It's the most wonderful time of the year
