Elmsley Count - Can anyone suggest a practice routine...

Struggling with an effect? Any tips (without giving too much away!) you'd like to share?

Yes I did notice, I knew someone would reply though.

My BTEC count -
- Does the same job as the jordan count by concealing bottom card of the packet and leaving it second from bottom (regular Elmsley position)
- It's done from right hand biddle grip
- Because of the grip it means you can do it straight after an Elmsley Count and it flows nicely (I think)

Everything else about it is all down to your opinion if you check out the video later. I haven't really shown it to any magicians, but I use it often for twisted sisters so I haven't gotta put the last card on the bottom - I hate that with the Elmsley.

I've felt the same way you did about Twisted Sisters - that's why I leave it set for the Jordan count and do that, instead.

I'm a bit fuzzy on how the flow isn't broken up between your counts. You mentioned it's done in biddle grip - does this mean you perform your elmsley count in biddle grip?

No, my Elmsley is at finger tips. I don't really know how to explain it so here's the video:

By the way, this me doing the same sequence about 6 times so if you're bored or don't like the music then just turn it off. Nothing new will happen as the video progresses.

If anyone wants some more detail on the precise mechanics of this just ask and I'll be happy to share or even make a video for you.
