I can still keep this open for a few days, if you want, but I will stop the donation counter to 62£ + the name price of the stuff promised. And I cannot guarantee that the authors that agreed to participate still want to...

Ok. Today I made a donation to Save the Children, so I consider this challenge officially closed. I wanted to make it education oriented, so I actually bought

-A teacher's kit
-A place for a child in school
-Textbooks

And a small donation, for a total of 75£, which is more than I planned since the prizes went unclaimed.
If nobody asks the solution, I won't publish it, so that people can still have fun with the puzzle.

I will contact via PM the authors who accepted to donate the prizes (and didn't have to, since nobody solved the puzzle) in case they want to stay anonymous.

Thanks everybody.

M

PS: I would attach the "thank you pdf" I received for the teacher's kit but it's slightly too big for the forum settings. If anybody is interested in seeing it, I will send it by email.

I finally found the time to write down a complete solution of the puzzle (the url is in the edited first post of this thread). Thanks to everybody, I've had fun doing this..
