Topcashback- accrue cashback for most online purchases

Postby dave_100 » Dec 4th, '11, 14:44

I've just learnt about this, so may be a bit behind the times, but its basically a cashback website, you just sign up for an account ( http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/new_registration" target="_blank ) and once you have done that, search in the search box for the name of the website (eg eBay, Amazon) you are planning to buy from, itll take you to the online shop, and you just buy like normal, except because you clicked though the Topcashback website first, itll track your purchase, and once the purchase has gone through you get a percentage cashback into your account which you can withdraw either to your bank account or Paypal account.

I have only just started using it, but bought something on eBay the other day for £15, and got 53p cashback, its not huge but if you are buying expensive items, or lots of them, or even just over the space of a few months, it will build up a nice pot of money you wouldn't have otherwise. It has a massive amount of shops, Amazon, eBay, Argos, Asda, etc etc

I'd like to second this, as I recently started using Top Cashback, and as I make a lot of purchases online, including eBay, if you use it and kind of forget about it, it accrues quite easily - accrued over £85 in about 4 or 5 months! Plus there are free month trials where you sign up and cancel and still get £10.10 for doing so. Of course, you will find it soon adds up.

Some cash back rates are really high as well. A lot of the major retailers and even some lesser known sites use Top Cashback.

Having Paypal funds is always a pleasure as well, and I would imagine would appeal to a lot of magicians, who would, without hesitation, purchase a new effect that has just come out. For those with trigger-happy CUPS will no longer feel the push / pull torn feeling of being on the edge of purchase.

Plus as the above user points out, you almost forget about it: just before purchasing just click on the retailer via Top Cashback and the site operates as normal and does not look any different. It just, I presume, works on cookies. Plus it can be anyone making an online purchase and you could benefit, so it's a bit like the equivalent of loaning out your Boots card to accrue points, although instead you're accruing funds. Surprised not more people have heard about it.
