TIP OF THE DAY !

We all know the horrors of performing magic on smooth, table surfaces.Cards slide away revealing whats underneath, hidden coins twang against the hard table top and reveal themselves, and cards can be difficult to pick up too.

So rather than buy a magicians performers mat, a couple of upside down PC mouse-mats do the job very nicely, especially if you work in an office and want to perform card tricks to colleagues.
They grip cards very well, and the soft felt like surface doesnt make any noise if coins are hidden.

Just an idea thats all.

A folded towel will do the job. Douglas Adams was right. Never be without a towel.

I use an 89 cent felt-like pad from a craft store.

I would have swore it was made for card tricks!

For table hoppers There are $5 little close up mats that are small, duribal and made for cards. (not dishwasher safe, trust me ;) )
