Will be trying to arrange these meets every few weeks so hopefully there will be a date to suit you next time, will probably suggest a few different dates next time

That is not to say I am Vito'ing it. I will bow to the majority view....that is, of course, until I destroy democracy and take my place on my throne of skulls and then you will all suffer due to your insolence

Neil does raise some good points, I hate Sheperds Neame ales, and the bus back to Waterloo from here can be a nuisance

I shall attend. As long as we all agree and sign a contract stating that Devil's Taylor was in fact the originator and any suggestion otherwise will lead to a court order/hissy fit.

I have a contract drawn up, am just off to see a lawyer to go over fine detail, I wasn't sure if I was allowed to organise a meet up officially until I had

And if anyone suggests that anyone bar me organised this then there's only one thing for it...

Can it please be noted:

March 7th 2007 was the first planned London TM meet. Suggested and organised by myself. Any subsequent meet ideas were done without my permission. Stealing ideas in magic is rife.

Your comment actually suggests the 6th March...does this mean you knew that 5 years from that date....no...surely not....

Fair point with the location of that pub, it did occour to me that it was a little awkward possibly to get to... but still so central.

Any other ideas where??? (There's a very nice dingy little Polish Vodka bar just behind Holborn station, but it can be a bit dark and crowded... may be worth checking out though! There's an awesome cocktail bar called Annnies in Kentish Town that's just begging for a group of magicians to attend... but again the location of it...)

Or back at the usual weatherspoons? :)

If its the Annies I'm thinking I know the people that run it, used to run a little boozer in Camden when I lived there, they loved afters shall we say!

On my sisters 21st birthday, we drank all Saturday night, left at 07.15, just in time to make Hackney Marshes and the early kick off, happy days!

Sorry, I digress, if it is who I think, they would love us to perform, but getting people up to Kentish Town? Will be tricky, especially where me and Neil have to get back to.

Maybe keep it Central? The usual Wetherspoons might be an idea? Am happy to try the Polish vodka bar for a nightcap mind

I'm happy with any pub as long as it fits the following requirements (in order of importance).

decent craft ales
I can sit down
it's not anywhere near Camden or Hoxton
I can get to London Bridge, Waterloo or Charing Cross easily

Other than that I'm easy

We haven't had one of these meets for a little while, so let's see how many people we can get along! Which means if you're not sure, or haven't been to one before.... then this is the one! They're fun... there's beer.... there's magic! What more do you want on a night out???

Can't you nip rond there in response to an anonymous tip off? Perhaps even arrest a few of them to make it look good? :D
