In A Flash - Jay Sankey

Postby Freestyler » Jan 13th, '12, 03:52

After pondering after a very long time i finally bought it last week, had it a few days now and it's absolutely incredible. I'm kicking myself now thinking just why didn't i buy this sooner. The reactions on the street are unbelievable when i perform this. I even surprise myself when doing it because visually it's that powerful, plus the spectator can examine everything. Such a clean ending aswell.

Anyhow the subject of the thread, F.A.O those who have it, i have one or two slight but hardly groundbreaking queries...

The top card which you rest the paper/coin on, when i light it and it goes through. That top card seems to not get fully ruined, but bends alot and goes all weird like it's got bubbles inside it. I've started putting the cards which this happens to, under a stack of CD's or the catalogue for 24 hours and they go straight again. But i was wondering if there anyway to prevent this from happening to the card? i've watched alot of performances and even from jay Sankey so many times, and the top card doesn't seem to take much of a battering.

Also what is the perfect size paper to wrap a 2/10pcoin in? i get a flash for about 3 seconds and it's great, the length doesn't bother me. All i want is the correct amount of paper so it's folded correctly and most of all to cover the part we don't want the spectator to see!

any help much appreciated

Thanks :)

The card will always warp due to the heat so just change it with another when need be other wise it will stand out at the start of the effect.

Might be worth just getting some flash pads?
